To be present in this moment, to be alive in this moment, to be gracious in this moment. We may not be alive tomorrow, but we are alive in this moment. One of the results of doing meditation, prayer and yoga is to stop the mind jumping between the past and the future and to live in the present.
But, you can have that feeling now, by just being in the present! Wow! Isn't it amazing to be alive? To live right now, right here? If you don't think so, it's perhaps because you're still trying to calculate the present. There's nothing to calculate! Just be! Also, there are varying degrees of being present which you may be interested to explore. Anyhow, let's end with a fitting quote by Ursula LeQuin and Buddha Avtaar:
"It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end" - Ursula LeQuin
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly." - Buddha Avtaar
