Indigo Children is a term to describe the new wave of children being born into the world who are already very developed and mature, naturally have a greater sense of compassion, intuition, emotional intelligence and understanding of the world as one human family. Their two main traits are greater sensitivity and self awareness. I would like to suggest that it is not a "new wave" of children, but rather the western world's recognition of an ancient way of life. The indigenous people, as well as the Tibetan monks, Buddhist monks and so forth, have always walked this path. The western world is having a difficult time trying to understand this, as they seek to understand through their minds and not their spiritual hearts. However, I welcome the recognition and watch the unfoldment of understanding with great interest.
